Course Description
EXOC for the Cisco Certified (EXOC-CC) is a modified version of the EXOC-200/5 designed specifically for those students who already hold Cisco Certifications or equivalent experience. The course concentrates in detail on the Extreme specific features and commands, and is supported by extensive hands-on labs. Little or no theory is covered as this is assumed from prior experience and certifications.
In-depth topics include: using CLI for switch management, Layer 1 & Layer 2 commands, Extreme stacking, EAPS, advanced OSPF, universal port and QoS.
This course is based on ExtremeXOS 12.1. The course also presents an overview of the ExtremeXOS software feature set.
Intended Audience
The course is designed for individuals who already have a solid foundation of networking skills and who are responsible for the configuration, management, maintenance, and support of the Extreme Networks family of LAN switches.
Course Prerequisites
This course is specifically intended for those holding existing certifications (e.g., Cisco) or equivalent experience. It is a fast-paced, lab intensive course meant for the experienced network professional who understands theory, but who needs to learn the specifics of Extreme Networks products.
