Extreme Networks - ENS-RE-CERT/5

Course Description

This course is designed for those who need to renew their ENS Certification. The course provides instructor-led lectures and extensive laboratory exercises tailored to the concepts and configuration skills required to pass the current ENS exam.

The focus is on the ENS curriculum for Layer-2 & Layer-3 configuration for IP networks using Spanning Tree, EAPS, Security, OSPF and IP Multicast. The ENS Exam is included in the cost.

Target Audience

ENS Certified engineers whose certification has expired or is about to expire.

Course Prerequisites

Current or prior ENS Certification. Or, ENS training courses (EIMR, EIAS, EIAO, EIMR) or the ENS Accelerated (ENSA) course

Course Outline

Days 1-3:

• XOS Concepts & Review.
• Configuring & Troubleshooting a Network Based on Redundancy and Security Features (with hands-on lab exercises)
• Configuring & Troubleshooting a Network Based on OSPF and Multicast Routing (with hands-on lab exercises)

Day 4:

• Instructor- guided practice labs configuring the concepts above (or ENS Exam, if ready)

Day 5:

• ENS Exam
