This course is also available through Virtual Classroom TrainingCourse DescriptionThis instructor led course gives students a basic understanding of IP routing in modern networks and an overview of the most common protocols and techniques. Focus will be on the TCP/IP protocol stack and Layer 3 configuration for an IP network using static routes, RIP and OSPF. Intended AudienceThis course is tailored for those individuals responsible for the installation, configuration, management, support and use of the Extreme Networks family of LAN switches, who want to have a solid knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol stack and principles of IP routing. The content of this course helps students to meet the prerequisites for the ECT-200/5 course. This will also benefit students preparing for the ENA Certification. Pre-requisite SkillsWorking familiarity of Data Networking concepts, including basic Ethernet protocol knowledge.
